FAIR PLAY MARKINGS ( Competition Rule 24 refers)

The four sections of the Fair Play report on the Match Return document are designed to allow teams to mark their opponents from 0 – 5 for fair play, attitude and organisation.

Factors to be considered when marking the various sections are as follows:

SPECTATORS

-did the opposing club’s supporters act reasonably throughout the whole game

-were that appreciative of your players as well as their own

-did they demonstrate a consistently sporting attitude

-did they accept refereeing decisions impartially and with good grace

-was there no evidence of foul and abusive language or other unwelcome comments

OFFICERS (e.g. opposing manager, coach, trainer, etc – does not include match officials whether league or club appointed)

-were the club officals informative and friendly

-were you welcomed on arrival

-was any contact during the game of an acceptable nature

-did they have a positive and friendly attitude after the game

PLAYERS

-did they play the match in a sporting manner

-were they low key in victory or gracious in defeat

ADMINISTRATION (away teams only to complete this section)

-were all Competition rules followed in respect of time scales for the match confirmation

-were all instructions received clear and precise

-was there a helpful attitude displayed throughout

-was the match day administration carried out acceptably

-did you fully understand all match details supplied
